The 4.2mw Francis turbine was designed and customized for a Brazilian customer. After the customer visited Foster's production base and local hydropower station in 2018, she was attracted by the advantages of Foster's products and signed a contract immediately. Now the customer’s hydropower station has been in operation for two years and ecerything is going well.

Runner and Blade
Runners and blades made of stainless steel, the vertical configuration of the Kaplan turbine allows for larger runner diameters and increased unit power.
