If the hydro generator ball valve wants to have a long service life and maintenance free period, it needs to rely on the following factors:
Normal working conditions, maintaining harmonious temperature / pressure ratio and reasonable corrosion data. When the ball valve is closed, there is still pressurized fluid in the valve body. Before maintenance, relieve the pipeline pressure and keep the valve in the open position, disconnect the power or air source, and separate the actuator from the support. It should be noted that the pressure of the upstream and downstream pipes of the ball valve must be removed before disassembly and disassembly. During disassembly and reassembly, care must be taken to prevent damage to the sealing surface of parts, especially non-metallic parts. When taking out the O-ring, special tools should be used for disassembly. During assembly, the bolts on the flange must be tightened symmetrically, step by step and evenly. The cleaning agent shall be compatible with rubber parts, plastic parts, metal parts and working medium (such as gas) in the ball valve. When the working medium is gas, the metal parts can be cleaned with gasoline (gb484-89). Clean non-metallic parts with purified water or alcohol. The disassembled individual parts can be cleaned by immersion. The metal parts with non-metallic parts that have not been decomposed can be scrubbed with clean and fine silk cloth impregnated with cleaning agent (to avoid fiber falling off and adhering to the parts). During cleaning, all grease, dirt, accumulated glue, dust, etc. adhered to the wall must be removed. Non metallic parts shall be taken out of the cleaning agent immediately after cleaning, and shall not be soaked for a long time. After cleaning, the cleaned wall shall be assembled after the cleaning agent volatilizes (it can be wiped with silk cloth not soaked with cleaning agent), but it shall not be put aside for a long time, otherwise it will rust and be polluted by dust. New parts shall also be cleaned before assembly.
The hydro generator ball valve shall be operated according to the above maintenance methods in daily use, which can effectively prolong the service life and product performance.
