This marks another significant milestone in Forster’s commitment to expanding its presence in the Latin American renewable energy market.
The Kaplan turbine generator system, designed and manufactured at Forster’s state-of-the-art facility, is tailored for low-head hydropower applications and features high efficiency, robust construction, and reliable performance in varied flow conditions. The 500kW unit will be installed at a run-of-river power station in a rural area, providing clean and sustainable electricity to local communities and helping to reduce dependence on fossil fuels.
