Forster Hydropower recently extended a warm welcome to a delegation of clients from South America, who traveled a long distance to visit Forster’s turbine manufacturing and generation base to inspect ongoing micro hydropower projects.
During the visit, the delegation toured Forster’s core production facilities, including turbine machining workshops, assembly lines, and quality inspection centers. Engineers from Forster provided detailed introductions to the design philosophy, manufacturing process, and performance advantages of Forster micro hydro turbine-generator units, with a focus on efficiency, reliability, and adaptability to complex local site conditions.
The South American clients also held in-depth technical discussions with Forster’s engineering team on project planning, equipment selection, and grid-connection solutions for micro hydropower stations. Special attention was given to how micro hydropower systems can support rural electrification, distributed energy development, and sustainable use of local water resources in South America.
