(Forster) today announced the successful completion of manufacturing for a custom-designed 300 kW hydro turbine generator unit ordered by a key customer in South America, and confirmed that the equipment has officially entered the shipment phase.
The 300 kW hydro turbine — engineered specifically to meet the unique hydraulic conditions and technical requirements of the customer’s run-of-river project — has passed rigorous quality assurance testing, including performance, vibration, and electrical integrity checks. Final assembly was completed at Forster’s Chengdu production facility, where advanced machining and precision assembly ensure long-term operational reliability and efficiency.

With the shipment now underway, the Forster team will continue to provide remote technical support during transportation and assist the customer with installation, commissioning, and on-site integration phases once the equipment arrives at the project site.
