1 Introduction

The turbine governor is one of the important auxiliary equipment in the hydro-generator set. A hydro-generator set refers to one or more devices, including adaptive turbines and response control mechanisms and indicators. According to the detection of the hydroelectric generating set, the speed deviates from the switching control turbine flow. The turbine guide mechanism adjusts the speed and output. The turbine governing system is a closed loop system consisting of a controller, a hydraulic servo system and an adjustment object. Typically, turbine governors are collectively referred to as controllers and hydraulic servo systems.
The function of the turbine governor is to control the turbine by controlling the amount of operating oil of the guide vane (blade relay) relay to control the opening of the guide vane (blade) and then control the flow of the turbine. The speed of rotation, that is, the role of adjusting the speed of the turbine.
The turbine governor can be divided into a single-regulating governor and a dual-regulating governor according to the adjustment object, which is commonly known as the monotonic governor and the dual-regulating governor. C. When it is operated in parallel with the hydroelectric generator in the power system, the governor can automatically arrange the load distribution and make each unit economically operate.
What is the working principle of the turbine governor?
By comparing the speed signal (frequency unit) with the grid frequency (for a given frequency), the governor provides an electro-hydraulic converter with an on/off operation signal relay (command) to control the turbine water flow based on the difference. The adjustment of the turbine speed is achieved in this way.
